An Evening with David Lyon

Following the sell-out success of his recent talk on Bhutan, David Lyon will give an illustrated talk on the Tuareg people of Saharan Niger in aid of local health screening charity, the Mary How Trust.

Join David Lyon, Honorary Treasurer of the Royal Geographical Society, on Wednesday 16 March at Fitzleroi Barn, Fittleworth, for an inspirational and entertaining evening.

In addition to David’s lavishly illustrated talk, there will be a light meal by So India restaurant of Stane Street, Pulborough; a licensed bar; and a display of beautiful Tuareg jewellery.

Tickets for this remarkable event cost £25 and can be purchased from the Mary How Trust’s ticket line (01798-877 641) or via the website:
www.maryhowtrust.org.

The audience will be seated at tables of 8 or 10, and tickets can be bought individually or in groups.

Tickets were snapped up quickly for David’s talk on Bhutan, and there was a long waiting list for returns. So hurry to book your Niger tickets now!

David Lyon has trekked widely in the Himalayas, Andes, Pyrenees and Sahara since retiring in 1995. Since 2003 he has been the non-executive member of the Field Army Command Group, which is responsible for training those going to fight in Iraq and Afghanistan.
