Award winning Storrington Minibus man retires

On 31st July, after seven years at the helm Rodger Hunt retired from his voluntary job of Organiser running the Storrington Minibus Service.

During his time in charge, Rodger helped the membership to soar to over 500 members.

At his retirement presentation Rodger said “It has been a busy but exciting time, and I am now looking forward to spending more time with my family and friends”

Last year Storrington Minibus volunteers were voted as the winners of the award run by The County Times. for Best Community Service.

Storrington Minibus is part of the Community Minibus Association (West Sussex), a Charity supplying minibus services in 47 villages throughout West Sussex.
