Christmas Tree Festival 2nd to 8th December
St. Mary’s Church, Storrington this year will be holding its first Christmas Tree Festival.
The Festival will celebrate not only the coming of Jesus Christ but also the gifts of our community, our schools, groups, organizations, shops and businesses.
The Festival will include a series of activities, concerts and Church services to which everyone is welcome.
The Church will be filled with dozens of Christmas trees sponsored by several businesses within the local area and decorated by them and local pre-schools, schools, groups, clubs and organizations.
Dates to note:
• Thursday 2nd - Opening “Switch-On” (Late Night Shopping in Storrington).
• Friday 3rd - Church open all day with various activities (Choir practice and bellringing practice in evening).
• Saturday 4th - Church open all day with various activities.
• Live music at various times throughout the day.
• Sunday 5th - Holy Communion Service - Family Communion Gift Service
Songs of Praise Celebration Service with favourite hymns and carols chosen by children and young people.
• Church open at other times throughout the day with live music at various times.
• Monday 6th - Church open with various activities.
• Tuesday 7th - Church open all day with various activities and live music from 6.30 p.m. by Saxtherapy.
• Wednesday 8th - Church open with various activities - Sandgate Singers Christmas Concert (ticket only).
