Front Cover Artist – Jacquie Turner

This month’s front cover features a detail from an oil painting by Jacquie Turner. Jacquie and her husband, Barry, who hail originally from Bexley in Kent, have lived in West Chiltington for the past twelve years.

After a 20 year break from painting, Jacquie regained her enthusiasm when she joined the Storrington Priory Art Group nine years ago.

Painting in oils, she enjoys a variety of subjects especially animals, scenery and birds. Jacquie appreciates the encouragement and help that she receives at the weekly classes from tutor, Pierre d’Angelo, and looks forward to the challenge of each new project.

She has exhibited and sold her talented work at many of the group’s exhibitions.

When she is not painting, Jacquie enjoys counted cross-stitch embroidery, badminton and line dancing.
