If many of you have seen our adverts for Host Families but wondered what it entails, let me enlighten you!

We are a very well established Language School who welcome school groups to this area. We have Six Centres locally, so you can imagine that is quite a lot of students we find homes for.

We are very anxious to offer the Steyning and Storrington area to our school groups for many reasons, one of which is its ideal location to all of the local attractions, including London.

However this is a two-way thing and we realise that many families wonder if the intrusion on their own family will be too much. Well, we can guarantee that the students are out every day, often leaving at 0800 in the morning and returning about 7pm at night. After an evening meal; a quick shower they are often in bed soon after. The other reason families enjoy having the students is because they see this as a safe and controlled environment for their children to meet and make friends with teenagers from abroad. With younger children, this is often their first meeting with children who speak another language!!

Most of our families say that the benefits of this are very positive, including their children being able to improve their French or German and make new "Pen Pal" friends.

So we are always in need of good quality and friendly families. Even if your own family has left home, we would still be very keen to hear from you. People without children are very welcome as we are often looking to place Leaders and Drivers as well as students who may need a little more attention that Mums and Dads with busy families can always offer.
