New Rotary President

Outgoing President of Storrington Rotary Club Tony Vaughan (pictured right) hands over to the new President Mike Webster.



Mike took office at the beginning of July. His primary charitable interests are supporting the Help for Heroes charity in addition to the continuing work at a school at Kilolo in Southern Tanzania as well as the provision of development opportunities for young people in the Storrington area.

He was previously employed in London by Trade Partners UK, a combined Department of Trade & Industry & Foreign Office operation. Mike and his wife Ann  live in West Chiltington.

The next event on the Rotary calendar is the Car Boot sale on Bank Holiday Monday, 31st August in Storrington Library Car park. This will be followed by the annual Horse Show and Gymkhana, which is held at Broadbridge Farm Ashington on Sunday 19th September.

The Rotary Club meets at the West Chiltington Golf Club every Monday evening at 7.30pm, and would welcome contact from interested new members.
