NOV 11 - Storrington First School Hot Air Balloon Flight

The children of Storrington First School had the pleasure of watching a Hot Air Balloon flight demonstration on the school grounds on Friday 23rd September. Mr Ian Wadey of Stable Antiques and Southern Railway Hot Air Balloon very kindly took a few teachers up on a short flight including the headteacher Mr Garry Smart.

Miss Amie Bowers the schools deputy headteacher and year 4 class teacher commented ‘Our year 4 children are completing a round the world in 80 days project and this experience had made their learning truly come alive’.

A visitor of the school commented how very lucky the children are for having such beautiful grounds to hold this event.
