NOV 11 - The World’s Biggest Coffee Morning

One of the largest Coffee Mornings held in Storrington on Friday 30th September, was held at the Village Community Market, organised and run by Dianne Bailey and members of the Storrington & Sullington Community Partnership, in aid of MacMillan Cancer Support’s “Worlds Biggest Coffee Morning!

’The event was visited by Michelle Martin, Head of Regional Fundraising for MacMillan Cancer Support in the South East, who said that they had high expectations for this, their largest fundraising campaign of the year.

When it was all over, Dianne Bailey said of the Coffee Morning “WOW!! What a fantastic morning we’ve had at Storrington Community Market, the beautiful sunny weather brought everyone out spending their money on our coffee & cake as well as our tombola. We raised the amazing sum of £355. Cakes made and kindly donated by “Homemade Kitchen’s Sophie and Carla of West Chiltington. A great morning and a huge thank you to all”.
