Storrington Crickets Club

Situated alongside Chanctonbury Leisure Centre and Storrington Football Club at The Recreation Ground, Storrington Cricket Club is one of the oldest cricket clubs in Sussex.

The club has a great history of which we are proud but it’s to the future that we are currently looking. The club  is looking for new members, be they players, social members, umpires, coaches or juniors. We field a 1st and 2nd XI on Saturdays in the West Sussex Invitation league and play friendly fixtures on Sundays. We also have a juniors section.

Anybody interested in playing cricket  is invited to attend pre-season nets which commence on 2nd March at Chanctonbury Leisure Centre. Full details and contacts are available on our website www.storringtoncc.com. We’d also be interested in hearing from anybody who is able to assist in coaching youngsters.

There is a keen social side to the club and our bar is open during and after matches on Saturdays and Sundays. We also have an annual end of season dinner and social events during the winter months. If you live in or close to Storrington, whether you be new to the area and looking for somewhere to play cricket, someone who has lived in the village for years and never really known about the cricket club or someone who is just looking for something new to do on weekends, please contact us or pop down to the club on a Saturday or Sunday afternoon.
