Strictly Dancing with Lisa

The New Year is a great time to try something new, so why not try Strictly Dancing With Lisa! It’s a dance class with a difference! Lisa’s concept incorporates different dance styles with the many music styles around, this way she expands what’s on offer in the traditional world of dance. It’s a way of bringing the fun and freedom of dance to all manner of people, whether young or old, novice or experienced. What’s more, you don’t need a partner, as you learn in lines!

From musical theatre to disco, from cha cha to swing, each session emphasises the ‘fun’ of learning to dance, so whether it’s full-on dancing you want, or a way to get fit, increase fitness, lose weight, or if you just want something energetic to do that promotes better health in a friendly and fun-filled environment, Strictly Dancing With Lisa could prove to be just what you’re looking for.

There’s nothing ‘too heavy’ involved, Lisa leaves that for the more serious dance classes and institutions, instead she focuses on helping people release their inhibitions through ‘encouraging teaching’ that allows each person to progress at his or her own speed. In fact, Strictly Dancing is so accommodating that people can come and go as they please because each week Lisa teaches something different. There’s no membership, just a very affordable, pay per visit system of £5.50 per head (with the option to save money by paying in advance for a series of classes).

Lisa has danced for most of her life, starting with ballet when she was approximately five years old. Since then her passion for all things dance has allowed many people to experience what dance can really do. She says, “Dance is a very liberating form of the arts. People who have taken part in my other dance classes have grown in confidence. People keep coming back for more, which proves dance really can work. The concept of Strictly Dancing means that the majority of people can benefit from the relaxed and fun approach to dancing.” Concluding Lisa says, “Come along and try a couple of sessions to see what I’m talking about!”

So, if you want to try something new, exciting and full of fun, while learning to dance and getting fit, why not try Strictly Dancing With Lisa.

Daytime and evening classes are on offer during the week across West Sussex plus weekend workshops too. For further details contact Lisa on 07939 248871 or email: lisa@strictlydancingwithlisa.co.uk or visit the website: www.strictlydancingwithlisa.co.uk
