The Mary How Trust Film Society is Delighted to be Screening “Tamara Drewe”

The next presentation from the Mary How Trust Film Society will be hit comedy Tamara Drewe (15) directed by Stephen Frears and starring Dominic Cooper, Gemma Arterton, Tamsin Grieg and Roger Allam, on Tuesday 23 November 2010.

Based on Posy Simmonds’ acclaimed comic-book series, Tamara Drewe is an entertaining and acutely observed reflection on British country life.  Tamara Drewe (Arterton), now a glamorous newspaper columnist, causes a stir when she returns to the sleepy village she grew up in.  A delightful and occasionally dark satire, the film has received rave reviews from film critics and filmgoers alike.

Venue: West Chiltington Village Hall at 3.00pm and 7.30pm.  Bar, raffle, refreshments and ample free parking.

Tickets cost £5.00, including membership, and may be obtained from any of these agents:-
