The Mary How Trust Film Society is Delighted to be Screening.

“THE GHOST WRITER” TO BE CONFIRMED

The next presentation from the Mary How Trust Film Society will be The Ghost Writer (15), directed by Roman Polanski, featuring Ewan McGregor, Pierce Brosnan, Kim Cattrall, on Tuesday 22nd June 2010.

This political thriller centres on a ghost-writer hired to take over the writing of the memoirs of a former British prime minister after his first co-writer dies in an accident. As “the ghost” discovers more about the retired PM’s activities he accuses the PM of illegal cooperation with the CIA. He pieces together clues that indicate the previous writer may have found a far darker secret and that this is hidden in the manuscript he left behind.

Venue: West Chiltington Village Hall at 3.00pm and 7.30pm. Bar, raffle, refreshments and ample free parking.
