Chanctonbury Chorus - Come and Sing!
Saturday 11th FebruaryThe Chanctonbury Chorus is a well established group of about 50 singers who enjoy getting together weekly in Steyning to rehearse a big choral masterpiece. We then give a public performance 2 or 3 times a year. The great thing is that to sing with the Chorus, you do not need current musical experience as there is no audition and members are coached as we go along. Nevertheless, the results are superb and a great part of Sussex musical life. Have a look at our website www.chanctonburychorus.org for more about the Chorus.
Singing in a choir gives you a real buzz so why not come along for a taster session? You might have sung at school but been away from singing for years; you might just have always wanted to try it; so, whether you are experienced or not, come and give it a go!
Chanctonbury Chorus will be giving a performance of Haydn's Creation on Saturday 4th February 2012 at 7.30pm at St Andrew's and St Cuthman's Church, Steyning.
Admission by programme £12 available from The Bookshop, High Street, Steyning. Design, Copy, Print, Henfield. The Card Centre, Storrington. Choir members or contact 01903 815467.
There is no commitment so you have nothing to lose and much to enjoy - come and try! Ring Martin on 01903 260770 or Simon on 01903 745647 for more details.
